The sentiments of condolences extended by the great number of people for the lives perished in the wake of “The Earthquake in Northeastern Japan and in the Pacific Ocean off the Coast of the Region” are deeply appreciated.

The Consulate- General of Japan in Jeddah would like to inform the well-wishers of the acceptance of donations by the Japanese Red Cross Society as follows:

The Japanese Red Cross Society is ready to accept donations for the victims of “The Earthquake”． The donations can be remitted to the following bank account. Your donation will be given by the Japanese Red Cross Society to the Donation Distribution Committee of the local government in the area affected by the disaster, and the donated money will be handed over to the victims by the Distribution Committee.

In case you wish to hand over the donations（cash or check） to the Consulate-General，they can be accepted by the Consulate-General and remitted to the Japanese Red Cross Society．If you would like to extend the donation by check，please make the check payable to “the Consulate-General of Japan in Jeddah”．A letter mentioning the date of receiving the donation and its amount will be issued by the Consulate-General．
