Reception on Emperor's Birthday
In celebration of the Birthday of His Majesty The Emperor, Consul-General Masayuki Miyamoto hosted a reception early in December.
Mr. Jamal Bakr Balkheour, Director-General of the Ministry of foreign Affairs, Makkah Region Branch as a main guest, officials, diplomats and others attended the reception.
Mr. Miyamoto delivered a speech that Japan and Saudi Arabia has become deeper friendship relations since the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud last March and Japan supports to a comprehensive plan “Saudi Vision 2030” launched by Crown Prince Mohammed. Moreover, He mentioned that he hopes the strategic partnership between the two countries to grow stronger through the “Japan-Saudi Vision 2030” formed by them that cooperate in a variety of fields such as energy, infrastructure, culture, entertainment, sports and other development projects and so on. All attendants enjoyed the Japanese cuisine including Sushi cooked by the Japanese chef of the Consul-General.
