First Comic Con in Saudi Arabia

　The Comic Con was held in Jeddah from 16th to 18th February, 2017 for the first time in Saudi Arabia. Many costume-clad young Saudis visited the Comic Con venue and enjoyed themselves watching shows and visiting booths.
　The Embassy of Japan in Riyadh in cooperation with the Japanese Consulate-General in Jeddah opened a booth to display some of the Japanese comic books and to offer name writing service using Japanese calligraphy which delighted every Saudi visitor in knowing their names by Japanese language.
