Consul-General in Jeddah hosts Emperor Birthday Reception

On February 15, Consul-General Yamamoto hosted a reception at his residence to celebrate the Birthday of the Emperor of Japan. The officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government entities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, representatives of relevant institutions, Consul-Generals, Businessmen and others attended the reception.
Consul-General Yamamoto stated that he came to the Kingdom in last December for the first time since 20 years ago and was amazed by great changes and qualitative shift that the Kingdom witnessed during these years. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the guests for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The reception was attended by around 200 guests, who were served tempura, sushi, and other dishes provided by the Consul-General's chef and a Japanese restaurant in Jeddah, making it an excellent opportunity to promote Japanese food in Jeddah.
