Consul-General SHIMMURA submits the letter of his appointment to HE Ambassador Hani Mominah

On 20 April, Consul-General SHIMMURA paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ambassador Hani bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Momina, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region Branch, and submitted the letter of his appointment. By this, Consul-General SHIMMURA will officially begin his diplomatic duties.
Mr. SHIMMURA and H.E. the Ambassador have agreed on further strengthening the excellent bilateral relationship in a variety of fields, including through the implementation of Saudi Japan VISION 2030 launched on the occasion of the visit by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to Japan in March 2017, and the importance of supporting the activities of Japanese community which is playing the essential role in developing the bilateral relations.
