Sushi Day

June 18 marks the “International Sushi Day”. Commemorating this opportunity, the “Al Halimon”, a Jeddah based private organization supporting international cultural exchange, held “Sushi Day” for introducing Sushi and other Japanese food, and supporting the development of Sushi business here in Jeddah.
 
Mr. and Mrs. Shimmura and Mr. Takano, the official chef for Consul-General attended the event. Mr. Shimmura delivered a short lecture on Japanese food culture and "Shokuiku" (Food Education).
 
Among the participants were young business people who enjoyed Sushi from a local Japanese restaurant. The event was quite fruitful in further increasing Japanese food funs here in Jeddah.
