Messages from Consul-General to the Graduates
H.E. Shaikh Ali Hussein Alireza, Member of Partners Association of SJAHI and CEO of Al Haj Hussein Alireza & Partners Co. Ltd.
H.E. Mr. Salim Al-Asmarei, Executive Director of the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute, SJAHI,
Faculty members of SJAHI,
Distinguished Guests,
Graduate students,
It is a great honor for me to celebrate with you all this great occasion of the Graduation Ceremony for the 19th Batch students of SJAHI. This graduation is distinguished and expresses hope and the spirit of the future after the Covid-19 epidemic.
I would like to express my sincere congratulations to the graduate students, SJAHI Administration, sponsors, Saudi and Japanese supervisors and students’ families on this graduation, wishing the students all success in their practical life.
Poet Nadia Kelani says:-
Salute the free youth, full of hope, who colored history with pride of work.
Salute the youth as they strongly stood and did not fear to be ashamed of their work by others.
They create the future with the team spirit, they revive a life of complete pride.
These verses of poetry speak about the youth who are full of hope and proud of their work, regardless of its nature, and who look forward to the future with determination and we, the Japanese too are inspired by these verses and they motivate us to give more efforts, just like you.
Your Excellencies and Distinguished Guests,
Over several years, Your Excellency Mr. Al-Asmari and SJAHI’s honorable supervisors have spared no efforts to develop the capabilities of Saudi youth in the field of automotive technology and to advance this Institute which has supplied the Saudi labor market with more than three thousand technicians, who undoubtedly contribute to achieving the goals of the "Saudi Vision 2030" through the localization of industries and the implementation of Saudization programs. Japan is cooperating with the Kingdom in achieving these goals through the "Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030".
These young people have excelled in the latest car technologies, including hybrid ones, and with the global trend towards environment-friendly and low-carbon cars such as electric cars, the automotive industry is on the verge of a major transformation, and I am confident that SJAHI’s management and supervisors are aware of this transformation and are ready for it and will keep pace with it, relying on the expertise and capabilities of their students.
Distinguished Guests,
I hope that constructive and fruitful cooperation between our two friendly countries will continue through SJAHI in dealing with the global issues like climate change and working hand in hand for a healthy and clean environment for us, our youth and future generations.
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate my sincere congratulations to the graduates, wishing them all success and further progress for SJAHI, the model of cooperation between Japan and the Kingdom in the field of human resource development, and I wish the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia all development and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
Thank you for your kind attention.
