Courtesy Call of Consul-General Yamamoto on Deputy Governor of Makkah Region

On January 22, Consul-General Yamamoto paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz Al- Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region. The outline of the meeting is as follows:
Consul-General Mr. Yamamoto noted that Japan-Saudi Arabia relations are important and strong, in particular, in the field of energy, and have recently expanded to a wide range of fields including politics, economy, culture, and education. He requested assistance in creating an environment that makes it easy for Japanese companies to operate in Saudi Arabia and the safety of Japanese residents and visitors.
In response, Deputy Governor stated that the Makkah Region is an economic center of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and economic activities have been increasing in recent years. He noted that he welcomes operating Japanese companies in the Makkah Region and supports Consulate General of Japan in Jeddah.
