On October 30, 2024, Consul-General Mr. Yamamoto paid courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Farid bin Saad Alshehri, New Director General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Branch in Makkah.
Consul-General Mr. Yamamoto requested the director general to continuously provide assistance in creating an environment that makes it easy for Japanese companies to operate in Saudi Arabia and the safety of Japanese residents and visitors.
