“Game Development and Business Opportunity Workshop 2025” in Jeddah

On February 12, Consul-General Yamamoto attended “Game Development and Business Opportunity Workshop 2025”. The workshop was held in cooperation with Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) and the Jeddah Chamber. It was designated as a memorial event of 70th anniversary of Saudi Arabia - Japan diplomatic relations.
Consul-General Yamamoto pointed that Saudi Arabia is a young country and Japan is one of the major players in the world game market. He urged Saudi and Japanese companies to seriously discuss joint venture projects and partnerships in this field and he is ready to provide any possible assistance for both sides. He also congratulated the Kingdom on holding esports world cup in Riyadh in 2024 and the adoption of the roadmap for hosting Olympic Esports in 2027 that reflects the great attention and encouragement given to the gaming field from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
