Workshop on Automobile Energy Efficiency in Jeddah
On February 20, The Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI) hosted the Workshop on Automobile Energy Efficiency was held by in Jeddah. The workshop is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), and other partner organizations in Japan and Saudi Arabia, and featured lectures by experts and presentations by SJAHI students.
In his opening remarks, Consul-General Mr. Daisuke Yamamoto expressed that Japan ready to cooperate further with the Kingdom to confront this imminent danger until achieving Saudi Arabia's goal of reaching net zero emissions by 2060.He also commended that SJAHI plays important role to train Saudi youth in the maintenance and technologies of Japanese automobiles not only in the field of maintenance but also in the field of energy efficiency.
