22nd Skills Contest held in SJAHI

On May 15, Consul-General Mr. Yamamoto attended the 22nd Skills Contest held at the Saudi-Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI). The contest was a valuable opportunity for young Saudi trainees to prove technical knowledge and practical skills that they attained from SJAHI in the field of automobile technology and maintenance and the winners were applauded by the audience.
In his speech at the awarding session, Mr. Yamamoto mentioned that Japan and Saudi Arabia are celebrating the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, and that SJAHI is one of the fruits of the long history of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He also urged the SJAHI trainees to maintain the Japanese work ethic they learned at SJAHI.
