The third edition of “Hayy Matsuri” was be held at Hayy Jameel in Jeddah from January 8 to 10, 2026.
1. This year, two musical units, "Frank Chickens" and "Tokyo Riddim Band," were invited from the United Kingdom, and to perform an open session of interactive communication with audiences, as well as a joint performance with Saudi Arabian artists over three days.
2. Ms. Yuko Tsubame, a member of "Frank Chickens," played the Okinawan string instrument Sanshin and held sessions singing Okinawa and other Japanese folk songs. In addition, Rakugo and Benshi performances by members of "Frank Chickens" were held.

In addition to the display of kimonos and hina dolls at the permanent table set up in the indoor exhibition hall, the Consulate-General of Japan showed various Japanese comic books, and videos introducing Japanese culture, which were well received by visitors. In addition, the consulate introduced Japanese culture through Ikebana, tea ceremony, Japanese calligraphy, Mochi-tsuki, Washoku such as mochi and Makizushi.
